And docs delay or refuse to sign the insurance paperwork, saying "I'm not a disability doctor." DAMN!!! That's NOT what this is about, it's for insurance, not SSDI! And then he gets mad and testy with them, and they stick their noses up in the air and say, "We don't have time to deal with you, and you not talk to my staff that way." One doctor threatened to security. He's threatened to report her conduct to the AMA. Insurance company is understanding, and the HR rep at his job has taken over dealing with the paperwork issues. So money's coming in, but has to be renewed each month. He sees that same doctor tomorrow for follow-up and another renewal. I've started going with him to every appointment with this doctor, just so there's a witness and to maybe calm things down if it gets heated.
